5 months after cataract surgery woke up one morning with extreme
blurriness which dissipated within 5 minutes.  It has reoccurred in
same way every morning for last 2+ months. Dr checked and said use
artificial tears, but won't give any indication whether or when this
condition will end. Have been using artificial tears 2x daily but
still no improvement. Any suggestions for me?

I would get a second opinion from another doctor.  I'd probably choose
a board-certified ophthalmologist who specialized in dry eyes/cornea.

Thanks, Jane. I have an appointment at Mass Eye & Ear next week.
