In another group, some people are killing everything from Google Groups (which not all newsreaders, including TB, can do easily), or just everything with a gmail address (that pisses some people off). What makes you think that the advertisers won't follow the good people to the new newsgroup? I've considered the possibility of that, but monitoring the 'pattern' of these advertisers, it seems quite unlikely given that they only appear to be pouncing on the main, bigger groups. Or worse yet, Zetsu? WhatsItsNameToday fails to understand that *it* is the main attacker of this newsgroup. Most reputable vision folks have stopped posting here, primarily because of the non-scientific *crap* that it posts. These seems to be no choice but to set up a new site, monitored by Bev. If you are intersted in second-opinion methods (OBJECTION to the minus lens -- and development of the preventive alternative) you might click here and allow Alex to monitor the postings. It is a broad scientific site -- and has an open mind towards prevetive methods.
