Snellen or LogMAR or ?

Do the professionals on this board not use the Snellen?  Some people with
macular degeneration have been acuity tested with the LogMAR charts at 1
meter.  Seems to make more (completely more) sense than the use of the
Snellen charts.

Try reporting logMAR on a Motor Vehicles form, or a school report.

Good point. LogMAR means nothing to the layman. Snellen charts are
something you can talk about to anyone and they'll recognize what you
might by '20/20'.
