Hello:

Been a while since I checked.

Anything new in the way of RP treatments, or still essentially incurable ?

Thanks,
B.

Hi Robert,

There is a cure for RP, I assure you. It is not a new cure; it has
been known for almost 100 years, but sadly, conventional ophthalmology
ignores many facts about eye diseases. Have you heard of the cure of
imperfect sight without glasses? I'm currently treating myself using
this method and I'm seeing stunning improvements (I have progressive
myopia). If you're interested in knowing the cause and cure of
retinitis pigmentosa then look up the original Bates method. There's
plenty of free info online, nothing you have to buy unless you want to
buy the book, so if you decide to try the treatment out there's
nothing you got to lose.

Here's a couple good sites:
http://www.central-fixation.com
http://iblindness.org

Good luck!
Jason

Some fairy tales are even older.

It's a shame that these scam artists put out false hope for
people looking for answers.

Did you just call me a scam artist? I am not one! He asked about a
cure for RP and I just tried to help him out with an honest answer.

No, scam artists are AWARE it's snake oil they're peddling.

But being honest doesn't make it OK to recommend sham treatments.

You can say 50,000 doctors are all wrong, but that doesn't justify it
either.

Of course this is a free, public newsgroup, so you can say anything you
like.

Just don't act surprised when someone points out your ignorance or questions
your motives. We're free to do that.
