Hi,

I have focus dailies contact lenses which i try to wear sometimes, but
i find them extremely difficult to use. It's almost impossible to put
them in (they keep flipping inside out and sticking to my finger), and
i can't tell if i'm putting them in thr right way (can't see any lips
at the edges whether they're flipped right or not). Are there any
daily disposables that are far easier to put in?

Thnx

Hi there,

the 1-Day Acuvue lenses have an inversion indicator:

I only use them occasionally but am quite satisfied. They also come in a
"Moist" version which I haven't tried. I'm not aware of any other daily
disposable on the market that comes with an indicator - maybe someone
else knows of another brand?

Andi, I've been using 1-Day Acuvue Moist (a really comfortable contact
once inserted) for several months, and I've been unaware of feature
you mentioned (which apparently exists for both Acuvue disposables).
Thanks for calling it to my attention; now I just have to figure out
how it works!

Albert,

the 1-Day Acuvue Moist is a good lens, easier to handle and less dry
than the Focus Daily... I have worn both but now wear the Proclear One
Day from coopervision, I find it to be more comfortable and moist than
either of the other two.

Hi Jane,

here is another page about that feature:

and a picture, illustrating the numbers 123 that are printed on the
lens:

Thank you so much for calling this feature to my attention.  I never
would have known.
