AMO Acanthemoeba claim wait

Hi, I live in the UK, and I am still waiting for a response to my AMO
claim for my cornea damage by Acanthemoeba. My solicitor has informed
me that it is now in AMO USA hands, but they may drag it out hoping I
may give up. Can anyone tell me of the progress in the USA. Have there
been any claims in the USA??
I am having problems over in the UK to get funding, which makes it
difficult to progress rapidly.

This is typical of joining a "class action", it grinds out in court
forever and the lawyers get all the money.
It's possible that the lawsuit will outlive you.

Not to mention the merits of the case are microscopic, if they exist at all.

AMO didn't cause the keratitis. They did everything required to satisfy the
FDA and it was the FDA who certified the solution as safe and effective.

Dirty lens cases, re-using solution, swimming in contacts, and wearing
contacts when sore - those all cause more AK than any flaw in the AMO
formula.

Not to mention that the FDA has yet to approve a single drug to treat
acanthamoeba. The medications have to be imported.

It's a can of worms...no pun intended.
