I am having a eye exam on Tuesday and will need to order new lenses.
I'm currently using Acuvue Oasys (monovision).  When I switched to the
Oasys I was thinking my contact lens days were coming to an end but
the Oasys were able to extend that for me.    I don't wear them
continuously and, in fact, usually take them out in the evening if I'm
home since they often feel dry/tired by evening.   For the most part
they feel pretty good though.  Anything new on the market that might
be an improvement - that would extend my comfort level right through
the evening?

I have been wearing lenses for well over 30 years and would like to
continue to do so for as long as possible.

You might want to try Biofinity. It is a new lens by Coopervision, that like
Oasys, is very wet, yet it has a high dK (breathability). Supposed to be
very comfortable.

I tried one recently, and didn't find it more (or less) comfortable than the
Night&Day lenses I had been wearing. But YMMV. It's worth a try. Look it up
on the Internet to get more info.

One disadvantage--the manufacturer has started US distribution very slowly.
Your eye doctor will probably have none in stock, and they take a long time
to order. They are not even available at an of the online contact lens
outlets. I don't know their price (only available through doctor's offices),
but I would guess they could be considerably more expensive than other
brands, due to low availability.

heyhey,

happen to see this post -- there's a latest contact lens by
CooperVision, called Proclear 1 day. Apparently it is the best of its
kind in the market right now.

You can check out this site, they have just did a review on it. www.beverly.sg

the article link is: http://beverly.sg/editors-choice/lens-comfort-with-coopervision-proclear%c2%ae-1-day

for me personally I do not wear spectacles, so i hope it stays that
way.. Hope i'm of some help!

No, it's not. Proclear 1 day is a proclear made for daily wear. It is
by and large not as good as the Oasys. You may give Night and Day,
O2Optix and PureVision a try. They are not necessarily better than
Oasys, but you may find one preferable to the others.

Ortho-K is the other option, depending on your script.
