Who is wearing these new (in the USA) silicon hydrogel contact lenses now?
Who is prescribing them for patients? What have the results been like? How
do they compare with Night&Day and Purevision? Has anyone been wearing them
overnight? (Apparently they have been approved for EW overseas, but not yet
in the USA.)

Hi there,

a couple of months ago I tried a pair of the biofinity lenses (they
weren't even labelled with the brandname yet, at that time).
Compared to the Night&Day lenses they are a lot more comfortable to wear
(due to the lower modulus) and have a bigger optical zone (which is an
issue for me personally).
The Purevision are also a bit less comfortable I think, optical zone
wise there is less difference here.

In general I think it all comes down to the lower modulus, I didn't
notice any other signifcant differences.

I'm still sticking with the Acuvue Oasys lenses as they are the most
comfortable ones to me and in addition to that center very well so I
have only minor optical zone issues. I've tried pretty much all of the
currently available silicon hydrogel lenses.
