I've just been diagnosed with 4th cranial nerve paralysis, which
explains the minor double vision I've had for years. The doctor
indicated that my only options were to increase the prisms that I've
had in my eyeglasses for years, or to have corrective eye surgery.

He did not indicate that eye exercises could help my condition.

Had anyone else had success with using exercises to improve or
stabilize double-vision caused by 4th cranial nerve paralysis?

The longer it's been there, the more stable it tends to be, and more
resistant to "training."
