Ms.Brainy - 02 Oct 2007 04:39 GMT
I saw today a new retina specialist for evaluation of my macular edema and
further treatment.  I prepared a package for him, including my eye history &
notes, OCTs, surgery records and letters form other doctors.  He was
impressed and told me to call him by his first name!

The examination revealed that the mac edema has been comletely cleared.  I
have used eye drops for 6 days and the change is remarkable -- the macular
thickness is reduced from 323µrr to 232µrr, my eye looks clear, pressure
normal, my night double vision (accompanied with pain) is gone, and my VA in
the bad eye is 20/40 (vs. 20/60 a week ago).  I also got a clean bill of
health for the fellow eye, with confirmation that it's in very low risk of
future problems.

The doc said that the condition of my eye and vision after what it has
endured (macular hole & retinal detachment) is beyond expectations.
No wonder I am so happy today, and wanted to share the good news with my
friends on s.m.v. who have provided generous help and support along my long
way to recovery.

NOTE:  Quasimodo, Santa Klown, Otis et al -- please stay away from this
thread.  Thanks.

Congrats on your good fortune.

The doctor has told you to track your progress with a daily Amsler
Grid, I presume.

Cheers,

Yes indeed, but only if I continue to do palming, sunning and wear a
plus lens.  Hopefully, such continued treatment will revive the dead
cones in my macula and prevent any future damage, due to eye-mind
action.  LOL!!!
Zetsu - 03 Oct 2007 21:30 GMT

You might think it's funny, but it's real!
The power of the mind, the power of the mind.
That's all there is to it.

Under this theory, every disease is easily curable.
Zetsu - 04 Oct 2007 16:07 GMT
> Under this theory, every disease is easily curable.

The value and power of the mind in treating diseases is yet untouched
upon; there is so much we have to uncover about the subject, and so
many things medical science has overlooked. People is getting cures
from cancer; people is puzzled - why does it happen, what caused it?
The mind is left out of the equation, and people remain puzzled. This
has to change and I am going to  change it.

A plus lens will not help you, but only destroy your sight more.

Hmm.

Two men say they're Jesus.
One of them must be wrong....

Hello,

>I am deeply touched.  So you don't actually hate me?  What a relief!

It's very strange, when I first came to this newsgroup I never thought
it could happen. But the more I speak here, the more I grow attached
to the other participants and you have grown on me, influenced me in
strange ways that I didn't imagine, didn't perceive would ever
happen..So, I don't hate you. Hatred is something the world has more
than enough of, I suppose. There is no use to be sucked into that sort
of emotion for petty arguments. Even so, you are on my 'against' list
so we are against each other, and I'll remember that!
Mike Tyner - 03 Oct 2007 23:59 GMT

But it's OK to get sucked into magical thinking.

Zetsu - 04 Oct 2007 16:05 GMT
>But it's OK to get sucked into magical thinking.

It seems magical because you have grown deep into ignorance, such
cures which you believe are incurable disturbs your mind; it slaps you
out of your slumber for a few seconds - and then you return back to
the old state, but now you feel angry with me for ever talking about
curing problems which seem so difficult to you and so persistent and
impossible to cure. But really it is not magical at all, just nature
taking its course when it is allowed to, without interference of
strain and undue efforts.

Is there anybody on this s.m.v. that is on your 'for' list, except
your own clone-identities?
Zetsu - 04 Oct 2007 16:09 GMT

No, I am against everyone on this newsgroup. Except for: Jason and
anyone else who has demonstrated curability in their sight.

You should try living in my neighborhood.  A whole bunch of males are
named Jesus (pronounced "hay-zeus").  At the local school, only two of
the 20 students in kindergarden speak English.  The others  only speak
Spanish.

I hope that you & this new RS will work together well for a long long time.

Still stalking me, despite my clear request?  I suppose you have
nothing better to do with your time.

Hmm... based on the number of posts, I would say that you have nothing
better to do w/ your time.

I wrote, "I hope that you & this new RS will work together well for a long
long time."
Why is it stalking? Do you have a persecution complex?

When somebody asks you to stay away from them and you don't -- you are
a stalker.

Your wishes to me are not sincere, even a blind can see it.

You wish me a "long long time" with the RS.  I would rather not need
him again in the future.

But most importantly, you are still hooked on me, and as Neil has
pointed out, you have singled me out.  Why don't you find another
subject for your wet dreams?
Zetsu - 04 Oct 2007 16:11 GMT

When somebody replies to someone they are asking not to reply in the
first place, they are somewhat of a hypocrite!

IIRC, you were fired by a cataract surgeon and had issues with your former
RS. You could say they are all jerks, but what's the probablity that someone
happens to keep seeing jerk doctors? Pretty low, right?

I can judge you only based on what you've written in this NG. Having said
that, I perceive you as a difficult, confrontational patient, attitude-wise,
and so did your former docs, I believe.

You don't have to respect them, but you better learn how to deal with docs
in a non-confrontational way.
Neil Brooks - 05 Oct 2007 00:15 GMT

I had a dentist drop me as a patient a few years ago because I
complained -- politely and in a professional manner -- that I was
STILL having problems with a crown that he put in.

No.  Wrong.  I've seen hundreds of doctors and the vast majority of
them were jerks. What AMAZES ME (and the cases in point participate on
s.m.v.) is how RARELY you come across the likes of Mike Tyner, pclark,
Dr. Judy, Greg Gemoules, Bill Stacy, Larry Bickford, etc., etc., in
the normal course of seeking treatment.

THEY, in my (not at all limited) experience are the exceptions, not
the rule.  For that, I (always) applaud them.

If that were true of Ms. Brainy, then it would be a VERY difficult
thing to tell the TWO of you apart.  The primary difference, though,
is that SHE didn't start jumping YOUR sh.t for no apparent reason.

a) You've said your piece.  Why belabor it?  Who is she hurting??  Why
this obvious erection for her??

b) I HOPE you don't expect ANYBODY to learn what a "non-
confrontational way" is from YOU, Jack.

New hobby time??  I'm thinking yes.

We Wolves want to thank you, Neil.  We appreciate the support.  We
Wolves are busy right now and cannot attend to giving our prey the
treatment it deserves, but will get to it in the near future.  This
will allow us to confront him at ease when we are in full possession
of the "too much time on our hands", and furthermore will enable our
stalking prey to bring his dreams to a wet conclusion before the
treatment.

We are sorry that our target prey never learned that teasing Wolves is
not good for your well being in general, and your health in
particular.  But as they say, live and learn.
Zetsu - 05 Oct 2007 15:28 GMT
How did you become a wolf.
Did you get bitten by Greyback Fenrir?
Nevermind, I am an animangus. We can go to the shrieking shack and
when it is midnight we transform there, I'll keep you company. I take
the form of pegasus.

I can understand your misery in being a wolf. The Ministry has
persecuted werewolves unjustly, and it is hard for wolves to find a
job without getting fired if they are exposed. They are not allowed to
teach at a school, because they are a harm to the children.

Otis hurts people.  That's a really good place to draw a distinction.

If people actually DO listen to you, then YOU, TOO, will hurt people.

And then I'll be all over YOU like white on rice, too :-)
Zetsu - 05 Oct 2007 15:43 GMT

Oh? And what sick diatribe does that infer!
That you are going to ejaculate on me?

Wow.  You're really a very impressive human being, aren't you?

Also, the one speaking "implies."  The one listening "infers."

It would be better if you could get ... well ... anything right before
you chimed in on this newsgroup.
Zetsu - 05 Oct 2007 18:52 GMT
Yeah yeah... same thing... that's what I meaned to say.
But, I am glad that you think I am impressive!
Zetsu - 04 Oct 2007 16:10 GMT

How is replying to a thread 'stalking'? If you don't like him
'stalking', then get the hell off an open public newsgroup.

Fat chance of that happening.  Glad to hear of your improvement.

That's great news!  I just hope that all of your future eye news is as
good.
