my mom suffers from an illness faithfully about every week.her
symptons are vomiting, diharea(?), body cramps, severe muscle pain,
inability to move around, and she gets really tired at the onset.
doctor's have ruled out just about everything we and they can think
of, by means of bloodwork, urine analysis, biopsies, ultrasounds,
MRI's, catscans, etc..  She does have pancreatitis, but the M.D.
specialists are telling her that's not what causes these episodes.
About 20 years ago, she had a gastronic bypass surgery, and she's had
a partial hysterectomy. The love of her life and long time spouse
passed on in 2005. I have suggested that she has broken heart
syndrome, because that is when this illness really slammed her. she
had only 1 episode right before he passed. the episodes are getting
worse, closer together, and lasting longer. The specialists can't
think of anything else to test her for. They have looked for cancers,
liver/kidney/pancreas disorders/diseases, blood disorders, hiv/aids,
diabetes, and what seems like hundreds of other things. If anyone
knows someone with anything similiar to this, please let me know, and
what is your doctor doing for it, and what is it called? what is
causing this? She is also under constant stress, which I'm sure
contributes to this, but surely it's not the cause.  thank you so much
for your time. manda

Where are you, geographically?

It simply sounds like you need a better standard of care and a more
competent diagnostician examining her.
