I got fitted for non-disposable Contact Lens 4-5 years back.
The doctor fitted me with BC 8.6 & it wasn't comfortable.
Then he tried 8.9 & that was great & I have been using it
for 4-5 years. Now my vision has changed & I am getting
new lens. This doc says that 8.7 would fit me best, because
that's the reading his meter is giving him.
Should I try the 8.7 or should I just go with the 8.9 which
I have been using for so long?

are these new contacts the same brand/type as the previous lenses?
the same nominal curve can fit differently between different brands.

Did your last doc give you some advise in how and when you should
replace your non-disposable soft contactlens?
4-5 years of wearing the same lens is not a very healthy idea for your eye.
