To those of you who were a big help when I had a lot of questions I just
thought you would like to know that my daughter's acuity is now 20/30 and
20/40. Her right eye's perscription went down from a -10.50 to -9.75 and left
went up from a -10.50 to a -11.00. I am not upset about the perscription
going up because I feel it was always a little under corrected to begin with.
We brought our 2 1/2 year old in for the first time and she was perfectly
fine. Thank God.

We are all pleased your daughter is getting the treatment
she needs.

I assume that she is seeing 20/30 and 20/40 through
the -10.5 and -9.75 diopter lenses.

Is that correct?

Thanks,

Otis

If you hadn't figured it out by now, Otis thinks that your daughter
was borderline abused by the eye doctors.

He has copied nearly every one of your sci.med.vision posts and put
them on his personal soapbox (the forum, accessible by going to
www.myopiafree.com and clicking the link in the lower left corner) and
assailing the ignorance of you and the medical community for what Otis
wrongly, and pathologically, perceives as mistreatment of your
daughter.

We're doing everything in our power to make this nightmare of a man go
away.  Meanwhile, you have gone through a lot.  You might want to
consider simply ignoring Otis altogether.  He's just looking for more
"ammunition" for HIS one-man site.

I'm glad that things are going well for your daughter.  Not the
easiest start to this life, eh?

Neil
