>From his personal soapbox:

"Subject: Neil Brooks method of improving your
vision -- FYI.

Neil Brooks states that he is not an ophthamologist,
but he does say that his ophthamologist is
Dr. David Granet (San Diego).

Neil thinks Granet is great, so I assume
that he worked out his method, and
got approval from Dr. Granet for this
method of relaxation."

Wrong as always, Señor DoucheBag.  Dr. Granet knows nothing of the at-
home methods that I use.

Are you EVER right?

Ever??

Can you even SPELL "ophthalmologist?"  Do you know the meaning of the
word?

You have the stones to harass people for not capitalizing letters, but
you are substantively wrong, dishonest, and crazy time and again.

Why must you troll and snip all over the Internet, anyway?

God! You're such an idiot.
Kisame Hoshigaki - 14 Jun 2007 21:34 GMT
If you are going to cry every time Otis writes some stuff about you on
his website, then don't go on his website in the first place.

Calling each other idiots isn't going to solve anything.

Why don't you act like an adult, Neil?

You are about 3 times my age, and you should have 3 times the amount
of life experience that I have.

So you should know better than me that this sort of petty insulting
game won't do much at all.

I am not even an adult -- and I am having to explain this basic
concept to you.

Just how DO adults act?

Do they go around harming innocent children ... like Uncle Otie
does ... by prescribing to them without the knowledge of their
parents?

If so, then I'm good with my current level of maturity.

You?
Kisame Hoshigaki - 14 Jun 2007 21:51 GMT
Dear Neil Brooks,

You keep giving this sort of excuse:

There are vulnerable parents and children who come to the internet,
and they should know that Otis and his plus lens theory has been
disproved.

The truth is, you just like seeing your name and your messages out on
the internet. You just want to 'look cool' in front of your friends
here and say 'haha, I'm clever, everyone look at me'. You just like
attention seeking.

Here's a wake up call -

You are protecting no one. Your ad-hominem attacks against Otis
benefit no one. Everyone knows the internet is not a place to seek
professional advice. That is common sense. Now stop using this lame
excuse.

The rest of your messages are very good. In fact they are quite
educated and helpful to people. It's just your attacks against Otis
that are a bit out of order.

Mr. Hoshigaki,  why don't you go to kids' internet forums and play
with your own age group?  This forum is for, of and by adults.
Kisame Hoshigaki - 14 Jun 2007 22:11 GMT
No it's not.
otisbrown@pa.net - 15 Jun 2007 16:13 GMT
Dear Kisame Hoshigaki,

This site is for adults -- who act like children.

You have shown more maturity of judgment -- than most of them.

Otis

Being supported by Uncle Otie, ISTM, is the ultimate in insults.

He got you good.

Ouch. That one really hurt.

Here is another one, now buried in the "Cause and Effect" thread.

Otis wrote:

Who is advocating over-prescription of the minus lens?  Any OD that I
know would object to over-prescription and advocate the correct and
proper prescription for the myopic eye.  No myope would feel good
using lenses stronger than needed.  What the hell are you talking
about Otis?

Is this what Otis' plus theory is based on?  Is Neil right calling him
idiot?

That's rhetorical, right?

You seem a little confused here, Brainy. Otis was referring to the
current high frequency of a minus lens being prescribed by the
majority-opinion ODs; not its Rx.
Zetsu - 15 Jun 2007 10:31 GMT
"Is Neil right calling him idiot?"

No. Neil Brooks is not right (in more ways than one).

As my friend here has stated, calling each other idiots will not
accomplish very much at all.

Now please, dear Neil, stop your whining. Either that, or perhaps you
could try the kill-file. I'm told it's quite cozy in there.

a) You're wrong.  Go look at his 10,000 posts.  You'll see.

b) Even if you WERE right, the implication is that more minus is being
prescribed than is necessary, so ... you're STILL wrong.

What are these Japanese-named, fantasy-gamer, cartoon characters that
you so admire as to hide behind them as pseudonyms:

 http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Akatsuki_(Naruto)

I'm glad you live in the fantasy world most of the time.  It makes it
easier to understand how that translates so readily into support for
Uncle Otie.

It's called an avatar, Señor DoucheBag.

It's called the fantasy game from which all of your pseudonyms are
taken.  It must be an awfully important component in your life for you
to choose solely from this well.  I happen to like science, reality,
rational thought, and honesty.

But that's just me.

I hope your characters improve their vision by following the dictates
of Uncle Otie, and that ... whoever you are, in reality ... you're not
hurt by his advice.

Your brilliance, incidentally, in co-opting my pithy phrases, is
staggering.  Good show!
Zetsu - 15 Jun 2007 15:40 GMT
Calm down, dear Neil. It was not necessary for you to get an erection
over my avatar.

Now, I'm sure your girlfriend Brainy will enjoy listening to your
lectures with the greatest of attentiveness, but I, on the other hand,
don't really need to listen to your moaning.

Thanks ;)

Could you at least extend the courtesy of posting under one name?  It makes
the kill file easier to manage.

Could you at least extend the courtesy of realizing that I couldn't
care less about your management problems?

Maybe instead of being a Fundamentalist Bates Disciple, you should
browse a copy of:

instead.

I would, if you'd stop putting your links in tinyurl form.

ObComputerStuff:  Whathisname uses the same Email address about 90% of
the time.  I can killfile on part of an author, so I do that.
