My ambition is to become an ophthalmologist.

I am still in education, so I am wondering, since a lot of people here are
very old and have a lot experience, what would you recommend I should
specialize at? Do you have any regrets from your youth that would have made
entry into opthalmology professions easier?

Biology is the most important subject I should study, I am guessing?

Where should I take experience?

I have already had a small amount work experience at an optician shop.

What will interviewers look for and stuff?

Thanks guys.

Is it you, Revival, or your 12-yr old twin?  Whomever it is, you
started with the wrong foot.  What you have done here in the last few
days is not the right entry to ophthalmology.

Forget it.  You are an obnoxious fool.

First of all, I would consider learning basic etiquette.
And furthermore, you are an obnoxious fool so just forget it.

Judging from your message, I doubt you'll get into a medical school.

Secondary/High School

Concentrate on getting into a college with a good placement record for
medical schools.

Take several sciences like chemistry, physics, calculus while you
concentrate on getting into medical school. They want to see balance, so
read Time magazine and do some intramurals or chess club or kayaking.

Then, three years into med school it's time to think about which specialty.
That's 9-10 years from now. By then you've changed your mind several times.
You'll discover specialties you never dreamed of and you'll meet people who
will influence you in unpredictable ways.

Right now, you should be trying your best to get into a good college. One
step at a time.
