CR-39 vs. polycarbonate

Is there a rough estimate of thickness and weight savings offered by
polycarbonate lined bifocals over 'normal' (CR-39 I guess)?

I don't have my Rx handy but I think the worst eye is about
"-3.75 with 3 diopters of cylinder" as described to me.

yes, the pc is index 1.6 and will be thinner and lighter (all things
being equal, ie frame shape and size). to put a % difference would be
difficult because of these variables but 30% is an educated guess.
