She is not a 15 yr old girl form Norway. S/he has been around a lot
longer. Her/his English is too good and s/he uses American pop-
expressions that nobody but Americans use. There are many other clues
in his/her emails to support this conclusion.
Since this group is unmoderated, there is no choice but to let him/her
bark. I have no idea why s/he needs to assume a fake identity and has
no courage to stand behind her postings and take credit (or debit) for
them.

I read the IP address as the UK.
As to him/her/it being a fraud, though, I would totally agree.
There's a long-term pattern around s.m.v: periodically, when Otis's
skin gets thin, he recruits the faithful from the other (myriad) sites
that he trashes, virtually begging them to come to his defense.
They seldom stay long.
No matter. A good volley once in a while keeps the game sharp ;-)
Ms. Brainy,
You're not very nice for starting this thread... =(
"She is not a 15 yr old girl form Norway."
I don't think that's fair, I made a typo!! I meant that I am from Norway but
that now I'm in the UK!!
"S/he has been around a lot longer. "
If you mean that I've been on this group for a long time, I haven't! I only
just found 'sci.med.vision' when I typed in 'improve eyesight naturally' on a
search engine!
"Her/his English is too good and s/he uses American pop-
expressions that nobody but Americans use. There are many other clues
in his/her emails to support this conclusion"
Now that's just plain silly. I know I use 'American pop-expressions that
nobody but Americans use', but that's only because I used to watch a lot of
American films and most of the English I learnt was from those movies. That's
probably why I sound American!! Also, I've lived for 1/3 of my whole life in
the UK, so of course I had to learn to speak English! Ma'am, I don't think
you're being fair to me here!?
"There are many other clues in his/her emails to support this conclusion. "
What is this, Crime Scene Investigation?! Well, do forgive me for asking,
detective Colombo...
This thread really wasn't very nice of you to make!! >:(

Brooks,
"I read the IP address as the UK. "
I know, I am in the UK, omg...
"There's a long-term pattern around s.m.v: periodically, when Otis's

For the love of god!! OTis didn't recruit me... And I wasn't 'coming to his
defense' if you're referring to that argument we had yesterday!! I was just
making a completely valid and justified point.... >:(

YOU are not very nice for posting under two different names, and
trying to incite arguments between us about the stupid Bates
procedure.
If you want to try Bates then by all means do so. We are very much
more familiar with it, and some of the kooks who propose it, than you
are and might care not to have them posting their BS here. let them
live in their own pond and we will stay away, and vice versa.
You should reflect on why you are being so deceptive.

Dear Kaze,
It turns out that Neil Brooks is a fake also.

He is?
Do tell, Uncle Otie.

Come on, Uncle Otie.
Still eager to hear exactly how I'm a fake.
Please enlighten.
You ought to be prepared to defend at least ONE of your statements at
least ONCE, no?

I always have the picture of Lucy pulling out the football as Charlie
Brown tries to kick it when the people on this NG ask Otis for a
straight forward answer.

Alright. Quick Peanuts joke:
It's a hot summer day and Charlie Brown is filling up the wading
pool. Lucy is hiding in the bushes.
Charlie Brown--not knowing that anybody is around--comes out of the
house and heads toward the pool, naked.
As he walks by the bushes, Lucy steps out and says, "Charlie Brown, I
always knew you were crazy, but now I can see your (you're) nuts."
We're here all week, folks. Tip your bartenders....

But seriously, Folks.
Uncle Otie? How, exactly, am I a fake?? Is it because I don't have a
financial interest in any of this ... like you do?
MUST one be trying to profit, economically, from their position to be
thought "genuine," unbiased, and pure in your view?
Please ... do tell.

And what words would best describe you Otis Brown, engineer?
Crawl back under your rock and stay out of this newsgroup. Have you
noticed that the words "science" and "medicine" appear in the
definition? What do you know about either one of those two things?
You ignor the science that disproves that plus lens prevention doesn't
work and then you ignor the clinicians who actually see patients and
have real experience.
Go back to your alternative newsgroups where proof and validity are
not important. Quit giving false advice to people when you have
neither the training nor the experience.
PS -- And you Kaze/Bates, are you happy? Do you salivate at the idea
of watching people argue? What does that say about your personality?
