I have been having a few problems with my left eye, in the morning its
very hard to focus or see much because I have an afterimage which does
go away when I close my eyes are reopen them.

The afterimage is just a white light which is the same shape of the
last thing I looked at.

I get a pain just above my left temple which is sore to touch, my eye
itself actually hurts just on the rim of the iris but goes away after
a few seconds.  It mainly hurts when I focus too much on something
close or far away.
