I was wondering if anyone else has had  this problem: I have had
progressive myopia since I was young in one eye (which is my "good"
eye) and when they could not correct it with glasses anymore because I
was a  -13.5 they gave me an IOL of +13.5. Something happened during
the surgery and the optic nerve is now "pale". My vision is not too
bad in that eye but it keeps getting clouded over and they keep giving
me YAG Laser to open it up. My question is: "How many YAG Lasers are
normal after IOL and how many times can I have it done before my good
eye goes bad?"

I think there is no magic number that is "normal", but certainly if you
were -13.5 you are at a significant risk for retinal detachment and
would be very careful about every YAG treatment.   Get a second opinion.

I'm not a doctor.  I have IOLs in both eyes.  I have had YAG for both,
about a year later.  In my limited experience, it is one time.

I wish you luck.
