I got an anti coating on my glasses a few months ago. Ever since then,
I'm seeing streaks, rays of light from bright light especially when I'm
driving but at home also. I just went to an opthamologist and she said
everything is ok and there is no problem with my eyes. I had the anti
glare coating removed and I still have the same problem with other
glasses or even without glasses when I squint. I've never had this
problem before and I'm wondering if the eyeglasses caused this as
everything is ok with my eyes.

The lens surface was probably dirty and filmy due to improper or infrequent
cleaning.
The AR coating may have failed- common with the cheaper coatings.

Don't squint. Get new lenses with an AR coating.

sometimes the original lenses are bad and simply removing the ar coat
is not enough.
get a new pair of lenses (insist on high quality), whether ar coated
or not the streaks should be gone.
