I asked a few weeks ago:

I'm not sure if I will be able to wear my usual contact lens in my right eye between surgeries - would that make a big difference in being able to cope?

I thought it would be polite to post how its turning out.

I had a rezoom put in my left eye last thursday (8th). Vision was pretty
blurry in that eye for a couple of days and as I was wary of going
anywhere near my eyes for a day I tried wearing my spectacles with my
left lens removed. It was absolutely impossible. I just couldnt resolve
the two images, could do very little and had headaches and nausea.

When I got brave I put a contact lens in my right eye. Its so much
easier. Not fantastic, but better.

Now my rezoom eye has improved to the point where in the evening I can
take out my right contact lens and still see good enough to watch the tv
fairly comfortably. The distance vision on the rezoom is very very
sharp. Intermediate and near are improving to the point where I can
almost read the computer monitor with my left eye. I can just about read
the small print on my medication insert. I do have some halos but they
arent bad. Some ghosting on bright images on the tv but they are
starting to improve I think.

Next week I'm having the Tecnis multifocal in my right eye.

Best of luck to you.

I wouldn't choose a multifocal, but that is just me.
