My mom became completely blind two years ago. The doctor in my country
said this was called "optic atrophy". And my mom also had both
cataract and glaucoma. Now she cannot feel any light.

Is there any hope that she can be cured in US?

Assuming the diagnosis is correct, unfortunately it does mean she cannot
be cured or helped at all except with blind aids (guide dog, braille, etc.)
