I know you guys get posts like this all the time, but I can't seem to
find exactly what I'm looking for.

I'm going for a consultation at Lasik Plus in Baltimore. I know that
technology has changed in the past few years, so I'm trying to find out
what the latest issues are. I'm currently 26 years old and my
prescription hasn't changed is a few years.

-Does anyone have good or bad to say about Lasik Plus in Baltimore?
-Are there options which are considered better? (I've read that
Universities are considered higher tech than Lasik centers in general)
-Regarding side effects, how permanent and common are they? Do the
halo's really stop after 6 months?
-Is there a time of year better than other times to have the surgery
performed (winter vs summer)?
-I know that Lasik Plus has tons of "special offers". What is a
reasonable price for the surgery regardless of location?
-One concern is growing old with Lasik. What is the risk of losing eye
sight when I'm 70 because of the surgery alone? Are there 70 year olds
who have had Lasik performed years ago?
-What should I specifically ask my doctor?
-Is there a true website out there for concerned patients that isn't
financed by the Lasik doctors?

Thanks for your help in advance.

I also posted this in the  alt.lasik-eyes to get a different
perspective.

I'd say Glenn Hagele did a pretty fine job of answering this one on the
Lasik group.....
