I have a few questions that would like to see if someone could help me
with.

1)    Is the Pterygium surgery a simple one?
2)    What should I try doing for it not to come back?
3)    Is mitomicin C a good choice after surgery

Thanks

No.  Can be rather complicated depending on size and what needs to be
done.  The decision to procede with surgery should not be made lightly.
Your surgeon will discuss the risks and benefits for your individual
case and will either recommend or not recommend surgey for you.  The
decision is not a "one size fits all" thing, whether surgery is good
for you or will help you or is worth doing depends upon your individual
case factors and requires that you consult a surgeon.

> 2)    What should I try doing for it not to come back?
About 40% recur no matter what you do.

> 3)    Is mitomicin C a good choice after surgery
That will be a decision your surgeon will help with.
