Does a Pterygium gets bigger for using a computer daily? I work as a
software developer and would like to know if by using a computer I'm
actually hurting myself.
Thanks

Anything that causes your eyes to become dry and irritated
(along with uv exposure, wind, dust etc) can cause your
pterygium to become larger. Thus,if your eyes dry out while
on the computer for long hours it could cause an effect.
So yes, prolonged computer usage could possibly make
your pterygia worse.

I'd consider using a good artificial tear every so often while
on the computer. It could never hurt but can only help.
