I'm starting a new job which is gonna require me to work very long
hours, but I'm gonna have some time during the day to take a nap and I
was wondering if it is safe to take a nap wearing 1-Day Acuvue lenses
for about 3-5 hours. I appreciate your reply.
Thanks.

Not really. If you use extended wear silcone hydrogels, naps and the
occasional sleep should pose little risk. Either stick with glasses or
take the contacts out and give your eyes a break, especially when
napping!

I would not recommend it.

1-Day Acuvues are approved for daily wear only.  If you do sleep in
them, you will increase your risk of contact-lens related
complications by at least 9X.

If you need to sleep in your lenses, ask your doctor for extended-wear
lenses (preferably one of the silicone hydrogels that are approved for
that).  Unfortunately (AFAIK), there are no extended-wear 1-Day lenses
which therefore negates some of the reasons you probably were
prescribed 1-Day lenses.
