Hi, I wear eyeglasses, which is about 10 years old, I like to get a new
pair, the current eyeglasses work ok, the left eye see quite well, but
the right eye seems can't focus well, if I cover my left eye and look
at computer screen, my right eye can't read the text. I went see a
optometrist, here are the old (10 years old) and new eys exam results:
SPH, CYL, AXIS
old result:
right: -2.50, -1.25, 171
left: -4.25, -0.75, 17
new result:
right: -2.25, -1.50, 170
left: -4.50, -1.00, 30
now I am a bit confused, seems like the biggest change is on the left
eye, which looks just fine, the right eye I don't see anything changed
much (I don't know what these numbers mean), which is the reason I like
to get a new pair of eyeglasses in the first place. if with the new
prescription my right eye still can't see clearly, I am concerned. the
optometrist said he doesn't know why my right eye can't see clearly
like my left. any suggestions appreciated!
thanks

Does this happen with the old glasses?
If not, suspect that the new glasses aren't correct.

I haven't got my new glasses yet, both tests are done without
eyeglasses, wearing my old pair my right eye can't see clearly, I plan
to get a new pair using new prescription, problem is the new
presciption changes the "left eye", not much difference on the right
eye. the old glasses is made by "zeiss" lab which I think (hope)
shouldn't make much errors :P, it's the eye exam results that I mostly
worry about
