Yes, you can Google "orthokeratology" for details. Corneal re-shaping is usually done with rigid gas permeable lenses. Ordinarily, it is not permanent, and the reduction must be maintained by wearing the lenses 1-3 nights per week. Of course, your prescription varies during each cycle. Re your other question - there are no medications that reduce floaters. You feel threatened that the very lasik technology you embraced might be replaced by orthoK! Why do you support lasik so much? Financial investments? "Know" dozens of people planning to get lasik soon? Dont worry, lasik probably wont go away for at least another 3 years, maybe longer if enough people still want lasik.
