Cataract surgery while going thru vitreous detachment

Does it significantly increase the risk of the surgery? I'm meeting with my
surgeon on Monday and want to get more information.

maybe, if you are myopic, there could be an increase in the odds you'll
get a retinal detachment (still fairly low).
but not much if any if you are hyperopic or emmetropic
