HI!
My uncle has recently being diagnosed with AION, and i was wondering if
there was anyone who has some information about cures and possible
treatment options. Any and all information is much appreciated.

anterior ischemic optic neuropathy is associated with peripheral
vascular disease. he should see an internal medicine specialist who
might order carotid artery doppler studies, might want to check his
blood pressure, and might order some arteriograms.

its an important finding that indicates that there might be other
problems elsewhere in the body.

Yes he has been undergoing a lot of tests currently.
