Today was another follow up for my 3 year old daughter. She is doing well
and wearing the glasses well. In only 3 months her amblyopia went down from
20/60 to 20/40. Her perscription also did not get worse. I am hoping the
doctor is right about how she is so high now that she might not get worse. We
actually have a friend who has been a -12.00 since she was three. My daughter
still sees better the her perscription suggests without her glasses. I have
not seen any change without the glasses. She does perfer to wear them though
most of the time. Thank you all for all the help in the past and I hope all
is well with everyone.

I'm glad your daughter is doing well.  My son was -8.00 at 6 months,
rapidly progressed to -15.00 at 15 months, and has been stable since
then.  He's 20 years old now.  His ped. ophthalmologist at the time
also said he did not expect my son's prescription to worsen, and it
didn't, even with puberty.  Beverly

Thank you very much for sharing your story. Do you know if the myopia is
lenticular or not?
