The New Focus Dailies: changes in lens thickness?

As a followup to my question last week about 'visitint' and
'aquarelease' in  new Focus Daily lenses, the new lens seems to be
thicker and more rigid than the old one.  Can anyone verify whether or
not lens geometry changed, along with the addition of PVA and a blue
tint?  Is there documentation of such changes?

Thanks,

I am inquiring for first hand knowledge of any lasik surgeons in the south
east (south carolina, georgia, north carloina areas)...

I would like to know the names or clinics that you have personally used and
would highly recommend.

I was informed by a representative of Ciba that nothing structurally or
chemically had changed apart from the addition of PVA.
