After wearing glasses for over 20 years I have decided to go the
contact lens route. Overall I was able to adapt to my contact lenses
within a few minutes and I was able to wear them for about 6 hours
before my eyes felt a bit worn out.
I did notice that when I'm outside my vision is razor sharp. However,
when I go indoors my vision gets a touch blurry, my eyes get a bit
watery and I can't focus on objects that a very close. I especially
noticed this while waiting in line at the grocery store. This happens
on and off so I'm wondering if I just need to adjust to my contact
lenses or should I call my eye doctor?
Thanks,
Javier

maybe your contacts are too strong? This will make things from near
blurry. Ive tried contacts and had much less success than you did. Will
try orthoK once I save for it and if im a candidate

Might very well be simply adaptation to a new optical system, or perhaps
a slightly incorrect power or fit. There are quite a few possible
explanations for what you may be experiencing. Certainly you should
discuss this with your eye doctor at your next, hopefully very soon
follow-up office visit.

Thanks to everyone, it seem slike it may be an adaptaion thing. I
inserted the contacts this morning and this time they only bothered me
for a few minutes. I noticed that the blurring goes away if I move my
eyes a bit. Besides that I hope the contacts really workout becuase I
don't want to go back to glasses.

Javier it's possible that if you are indoors in airconditioning or
heating then your eyes may be irritated by that environment and becoming
watery & blurry. Try some eye drops (artificial tears) that are suitable
for use with contact lenses).
