Just was wondering about the B&L Purevision Toric lens and how this has
performed for people. I'm currently using the Biomedics Toric and prior
to that had used the B&L 66. The Biomedics comfort and VA are better
for me than the 66 but still not as comfortable as I'd like and the VA
falls too far short of my glasses. Still, after trying dozens of
lenses, these are the clear winners for me right now...but I'd like to
give the Purevision a shot if it has been a good lens.

My script in the BM is: OD:-2.5   cyl 100 -1.25 and OS: -2.00   cyl 80
-1.25 (or very close...it's been a while since I checked.).

Thanks for any info

PV Toric is the same design as the Soflens 66 Toric.  Acuvue Advance
for Astigmatism is also worth a try, as it is a completely different
design than the other two.

PV Toric is based on the design of the 66 Toric. For some people, the
more rigid silicone material may provide better overall acuity. The PV
toric, in my one month of dispensing them, has proven to be an
excellent, reliable lens providing excellent acuity and comfort.
Certainly worth a try!

I was wondering whether this lens has changed or improved from the
original 66 toric. I keep hoping for that panacea where I find a lens
that is comfortable and has good acuity (for me). Interestingly, some
of the worst lenses I tried were the expensive custom fit lenses. It
wasn't until I used the B&L66 toric and them BioMedics toric that I
actually forgot that I had contacts in once in a while. I'm always up
for another try.

the diameter of the Purevision Toric lens is 14.0 mm versus 14.5 for
the SofLens 66 Toric.
