I saw in the paper where researchers were using an individual's cells to
clone a bladder. Has any research been done to clone corneas that could be
used for transplants, or are there enough corneas being donated, and the
chance of rejection so small that there is not a great need for cloning
corneas.

i am not aware of any work on cloning corneas.  i think the precise
structure of the corneal stroma would make in vitro production of a
functional transparent cornea improbable.  yes, there are probably
sufficient quantities of donor corneas available.

theres not enough donor corneas and because donor corneas dont match
your exact type, many get rejected. Also donor corneas usually have a
different pescription than yours, resulting in anisometropia. I can see
the future where its possible to clone your own organs as backup. Need
a new kidney? Your cloned kidney to the rescue! Bad lasik results? your
cloned corneas let you "undo" lasik and go back to the way things were!

not only do you not know what you are talking about, but you have quite
a vivid imagination.  i guess mushrooms do that for you!

hey ace, do you think that OrthoK would work on transplanted corneas?

Ace had a thought? :

"theres not enough donor corneas and because donor corneas dont match

Ace, could you possibly get any more idiotic? Even for you this is
pretty stupid.
