I just pulled an old pair of these out of the back of my drawer and
they seem to be working pretty well for me.  I didn't even bother at
the time I got them because I had tried many types with no luck and
just gave up.  I went to the CV site to learn about them and they
aren't even there.  Have they been obsoleted?  Any opinions on these
particular contacts?

They actually got sued and pulled the name in an out-of court
settlement.  The Encore food people actually defended their name
against use by a contact lens company.  Yeah, right.  Just the other
day I was purchasing those frozen food entrees and I was so angry that
they came in those little foil wrappers full of saline. ;)
