walmart does not seem to do it.

they can be ordered online. However my optometrist does not pescribe
extend wear contacts as its too dangerous. I got a lecture on the risks
of sleeping in contacts from him, did my research and hes correct. I
dont think you will care, its your eyes to do what you want. I have a
friend who wears day and night but he takes them out everynight and
does NOT sleep in contacts.

During the week, it is not really convenient to take out contacts at night
or when I sleep because I sleep in the library or in my car. I do not sleep
at a house or apartment, nor do i have a regular sleeping schedule.

Thus, it is better for my eyes if i sleep in day and night ones than in
ones that have a lower dk/t.

Are you homeless? This is strange. Sleeping in your car or in a store,
restraurant or library is inconvinent to say!

To answer your question, yes focus day and night is less harmful than
others but its not harm free. Whats wrong with glasses anyhow?

acemanvx@yahoo.com - 18 Feb 2006 23:48 GMT
so its a vainity issue why you dont want glasses. Thats just silly! No

sleep in a house or apartment? Rent an apartment!

You do not force your culture and customs onto me.

Assimilation to whiteman's/Eurocentric culture has been going on for years.

I do not want to wear glasses because of socialness. In addition, where i
partake in productiveness, flaws in genes such as myopia is not something i
like.

This is whiteman's world. It is built on strict competition, individualism,
and capitalism.

American culture also includes lots of violence.

Now with culture, we have language and customs and histories and also
religion.

Oh, ,my god. Now what does this have to do with sci.med.vision? Why are you
writing here, Dr. Spockie?

And guess what--Spockie? The characteristics you describe are present all
over the world, in people of all colors, Unfortunately, violence has been
prevalent in human beings since they appeared on this earth, and not only
from people of a certain color.

So, enough of your racist diatribe, which certainly has nothing to do with
the subject of this thread, contact lenses.
acemanvx@yahoo.com - 19 Feb 2006 01:43 GMT
If any job discriminates against myopes and glasses, you can file a
complaint. There is no social sigma for glasses, in fact its the
opposite. Glass make liburarians look smart :)

This from the guy who's been advocating Ortho-K?
acemanvx@yahoo.com - 19 Feb 2006 03:37 GMT
OrthoK is good for those who dont believe in natural vision
improvement. I am improving my vision naturally. Was -5, am a -4 now. I
hope to get my vision better than Spockie's!
p.clarkii@gmail.com - 19 Feb 2006 03:45 GMT
have you tried orthoK.  do you know anything more about it that what
you've read on an internet site?
acemanvx@yahoo.com - 19 Feb 2006 04:00 GMT
Most of my knowlege comes from the internet. Some of it comes from
talking to friends. Two people here have experience with orthoK
CatmanX - 20 Feb 2006 11:30 GMT
And who the f.ck is that moron? You know sh.t about OK. No self
respecting OD would deal with you because you think you know more than
they do. You are however a brainless, impotent twit that wants to
aggrandize himself by giving unwarranted advice over the anonymity of
the internet.

WHy don't you go take a large dose of Phenobarb and ring us in the
morning?
