I have a perscription for -2.50 bc: 8.3  dia: 14.0
in both eyes for acuvue advance.

can someone please write me a perscription for

day and night -2.50      8.4    13.8

I want to wear them 24/7 during the weekdays for two weeks.

This will save me 60 bucks, in addition, the walmart i went to does not not
have them. They hae just johnson and johnson.

You're right.

I'm not.

You're asking for an optometrist to do something that is certainly
silly and unethical, and probably illegal: prescribing without ever
having seen you.

Ask Otis.  I'm sure he can prescribe something for you.  He's been
practicing medicine around here for quite a while without a license.
It doesn't seem to bother him one bit.

Good luck.

Neil>  Ask Otis.  I'm sure he can prescribe something for you.

Otis> False!

Neil>  He's been
practicing medicine around here for quite a while

Otis>  False!  I suggest that the person study the second-opinion,
and look for a "preventive" OD to help them in the use of the
plus FOR PREVENTION.  It is a matter for the individual
to juxtapose these two cotradictory methods and decide
WHICH method best meets his requirements.

i.e., clear vision (from 20/70 to 20/40 or better), or
wear a full-strength minus and develop stair-case myopia.

Neil>  without a license.

Otis>  Suggesting that a person review or evaluate the
second-opinion does not constitute "practicing medicine".
Sorry -- your understanding is screwed up.

Neil>  It doesn't seem to bother him one bit.

Otis>  Slandering anyone who suggests that you
investigate "alternatives" does not seem to
"bother" Neil.

Best,

Otis

You gave medical advice in the above link.

WRONG OTIS

Neil is telling the truth.  No slander can be found when somebody tells the
truth.  See above link.

Why dont you see my optometrist? Spend the money, he will give you an
eye exam. Then he will give you a lecture how bad for your eyes its to
sleep in contacts. You will be denied a pescription for extend wear
contacts and told to stick to glasses, matter of fact. I wouldnt be
supprised if you sleep in your acuvue advance contacts. Its your eyes
to ruin.

Maybe your optometrist's advice was particular for you and maybe he
would give different advice to someone else.
