Here in m'sia, in 7-05 to 11-05, I needed 2' distance to focus an
image onto my retina, but now in 12-05 rainy season ( coldest time
of year ) I need just 1½'.  I guess the colder tap water I use to clean
my eyes or bathe caused this reduction.
Does any1 here have this experience ?

Nope and no idea but bifocals can help you see clearly again from near
or if you are nearsighted, just take your glasses off to see from near!

I assume you are talking without glasses.  If so, sounds like myopia,
not presbyopia.  How old are you?

Colder water has nothing to do with your eyes.

Then you might consider rewriting your original post, which does not
make sense based on this:

>yes

I know what hes trying to say. He has presbyopia and usually needs +2
reading glasses but on cold days he can see with only +1.5 readers. Im
thinking it has more to do with bright light which causes the pinhole
effect. I definately see better in bright light and also can zoom in
closer.

Yes, but the most common reason is diabetes, not the water.

Black ants like to ingest my urine since '04, but my wounds heal as fast
as ever, can I be diabetic ?

| not the water.
Then the only possible cause is that since mid 11-05, I ( have oily skin
type ) wash my scalp @ night instead of in daylight, & so my scalp has
less grease when I sleep, this likely made me sleep better than before
& enable me to contract my ciliary muscles > before.

Yes. I found fruit flies around the toilet, and got tested.
