I am going to a corneal specialist to learn about what might be
causing night vision problems with starbursts and halos around
lights and sensitivity to glare almost exclusively at nigh

I'm wearing sunglasses at night because it is overwhelming
to see the rays of light in oncoming cars.

An opthamologist without much experience told me I have
small cataracts and they could not imagine it was causing rays.
They thought it could be extreme dryness but after a few days
of drops 8x per day no change.

QUESTIONS:

What else could it be?  Someone told me to find out if it is Viral
related to herpes or other kinds of viruses.

What else?  Conditions?  Retinal detachment?

(I think it is probably cataracts but I am under 50!!)
