"-100 to -175" doesn't sound so unusual, if you allow for +/-025 observer variance and +/-025 diurnal variation. -MT > "Double" sounds alarming. Now appears the exam was taken at a "false recovery" moment during an extended flu-like illness, that had eyes feeling whacko except for the couple days around exam. I'm guessing the real, healthy-mode degradation of astig is only .2 to .4 diopter.
