Nobody responded the first time around. Will the Acuvue Oasys go
on sale in the US? Apparently Ciba is claiming patent infringement
and asked for a temporary restraining order against the manufacture,
distribution, and sale of the Acuvue Oasys lens.

My guess is that it will go on as planned, with trial lenses hitting our
offices (those of us who are "biting" the pre-release hype), in a couple
of weeks. Salable lenses are expected at the same time, as I think they
will be in the box with the trial lenses. Unless Ciba wins an
injuction, which could happen, or not, without warning...

C'mon now, Dr. Stacy. Look at this as a great opportunity to replace
your "old" lenses (like Focus 1-2 Weeks) with "new" technology.
I've already put in my stock order.
