Hi,
I work for a publishing company and we recently published a book with 2
colors of type: red and black.  We heard from a number of people saying
they could not see the red type.  After reading up on the Internet, it
seems the safest color for people with color vision deficiency is blue.

If you, as a person with colorblindness, were reading a regular book
with white papaer, what would be the best color to make certain text
stand out?
Thanks!
Denise

Black on white is the most visible.  If you need to highlight text with
color any color will work (I like green), but  whatever color you use,
make sure  its hue is darkened a bit with black. The darker the hue, the
more visible it will be on the white background.  If you want a black
background, lighten the hue (add white).
