Then again, they *are* my eyeballs.  As my son is wont to say after
he's inhaled two sandwiches, a banana and two glasses of milk and
demands more to eat:  But you aren't my stomach, how do you know how
it feels?

That's how I'm starting to feel about these soft contacts, my
eyeballs, and the fitter.  The aspheric she smacked onto my left eye
on Friday fits well enough on visual inspection but is most obviously
THERE in my eyeball.  I don't expect it to stay put all the time but
it would be nice if, during its residence on my eyeball, it didn't
feel as if I have a low-micron angora fiber in my eye.

I called today to schedule another fitting check and was told that
unless the lens is obviously off-centered it fits well enough and I
should be happy with it, and then asked chirpily how many boxes I want
for each eye?

Huh.  I think I'll be taking my business elsewhere after that little
remark.  Maybe its time for me to revisit RGPs, I had excellent
results with them before I moved to Allergy Central...

Of course, I did have to abandon a perfectly good email account...

I would want to slap somebody who said that to me...  Have you already paid
her?  If so, I think she needs to do a little more work for you.

If they were comfy, they will probably provide much better vision than the
softies will.
