This will probably come across as a really weird question, but is it
possible for your eyesight to regenerate?
A few days ago I woke up and my right eye was really red. At first I
thought it was pink eye, and I put in some Polysporin drops, but it did
nothing. And it wasn't red all over like an eye infection usually is. It
was just really irritated right around the edge of the iris. Also, when I
went outside, I could barely stand the light, I had to wear sunglasses.
Anyway, I noticed yesterday while I was wearing my glasses that when I
looked through my right eye, everything seemed more blurry than usual. For
as long as I can remember, my right eye has been naturally weaker than my
left eye, that's a fact. Well today I took off my glasses and compared
vision through each eye and I realized that I can see much better through my
right eye than my left eye. When I had my glasses on, things looked blurry
through the right eye because it would seem that the right lens is now too
strong. I know I'm not imagining this, so what exactly is happening? I
plan to go see my optometrist soon but it won't be for a few days and I'm
really baffled.
thanks,

Your symptoms are consistent with anterior uveitis (inflammation of the
iris and adjoining tissues) or keratitis (inflammation/infection of the
cornea), both serious conditions that can permanently damage the eye if not
treated promptly. Get to an eye doctor ASAP, if you can't, then go to
emergency room.

Both conditions can affect the cornea and lens of the eye causing temporary
refractive change.
