Hi I have just started a trial of daily throw awayable soft contact
lenses.
Before this I had Monthly ones and only used them a few times a week,
so kept the same pair in use for over 2 months (changing the solutions
every two or three days)...now then onto my question, if i only use my
daily lenses for 2 or 3 hours a day, can i safely re use them again the
next day, if cleaned properly.
Also how is the lenses made differently from the monthly ones...IE:
what gives it a "Daily" property

Thanks

You can, if they don't fall apart.  Dailies aren't generally designed to
withstand cleaning.  That said, there is no minature time clock built
into them... It's mostly how they are packaged, marketed and priced...

I posted a similar question regarding the 2 week disposables a while ago.
This may seem crazy, but I have been using the same pair now for over 2
months with no problems. I use a perozxide solution nightly and notice no
difference compared to the first day I opened them. This is my first
successful time with  soft lenses (Acuvue Advance) and these have had a BIG
impact on the quality of my life. Maybe one day this pair will just
disintegrate? I don't know, but so far they keep working.

them for more than one day, would certainly save me some money, and
save the enviroment at the same time...hey just call me BONO.. ha ha
