Hello:

Still trying to get a handle on why, possibly, RP has entered my life
at the ripe old age of 68 !

a.  Was wondering:  is there any evidence that it ight be triggered by
any (new) medicines one takes ?  Anything in the literature regarding ?

I take every day:  Lipitor, Zestril, Prevacid, and 1 aspirin.

b.  Any evidence that it might be triggered by laser repair work to
fuse retinal tears, etc. ?

c.  Any known "triggers", or just plain causes for ?

Thanks,
Bob

If it is RP, then the cause is genetic.  There are dozens of different types
of RP, some are much less aggressive than others and do not affect vision
until the fifth or sixth decade.
