I have marginal tear production (at least that is what the optomerist
told me 20 years ago). The Accuve daily disposables seem to work best
for me (Focus Night and Day are very uncomfortable, make my eyes
itch). I would like the advantages of the silicone hydrogels, does
anyone think any of the other silicone hydrogels will work for me?
Also am I a bad candidate for PRK/Lasik surgery?
Thanks

I would try the others, and no, I wouldn't recommend lasik due to the
dryness, which will only be worse post-op.

What "advantages" of the silicone hydrogel lenses are you seeking?
Oxygen transmission for overnight wear? Probably not a good idea if
your eyes are dry.
If it is a comfortable lens for dry eye you are seeking, I would also
suggest trying the Proclear Compatibles. It works on a different
principle to help patients with dry eye, but is only approved for daily
wear.
As Dr. Stacy pointed out, getting LASIK for dry eye is akin to a person
with cirrhosis taking a drink of alcohol.
