I'm using the Vertex toric contact lenses and i've been experiencing
some problems with them. First off, my left contact constantly rotates
out of position and everything gets all blurry and sometimes it never
fixes itself.
Another annoying thing is whenever I try to read a book or magazine my
contacts dry out tremendously and I have to end up putting eye drops in
every couple of minutes but when I stop reading and just watch tv they
don't feel as dry (but they still feel dry). In general, my contacts
feel sort of dry throughout the day and they get even worse at night.
And my last question is, is there a way to stop my contacts from
rotating and making everything blurry? Will getting a different brand
of contacts help correct all these problems?
Thanks

Tell your doctor the lens is rotating. If you want to stay with Vertex
torics, he might be able to choose a new axis that takes rotation into
account (they still rotate, but _into_ place, rather than _out of_ place.)
There are plenty of other torics, perhaps more stable. Most of them cost
more than Vertex.

Sorry, I missed that second part.
Yes, if they're dry every day you can assume they don't fit very well. Your
doctor should have suggestions, but you can be pretty sure all Vertex torics
will continue to feel as these do.
Soft lenses should not be felt.
