Macular Degeneration

I had my eyes checked yesterday for new glasses by an optometrist who told
me I have the beginnings of macular degeneration. I know very little about
this condition. What can you tell me about it, and what should I be doing,
if anything?

That website is a great starting point to learn about the types,
symptoms and available treatments. After you have read that sight and
some of its related links, we might be able to help you with more
specific answers.
